“Garden with the Knowledge of the Mayan Grandparents, in progress.”
The Enchanted Garden is a living work of art, a space that preserves and cultivates the biocultural memory of the Mayan territory. This evolving installation embodies ancestral wisdom, integrating traditional ecological knowledge, spiritual symbolism, and the harmonious relationship between nature and culture. Through its ongoing development, the garden serves as a sanctuary for heritage, storytelling, and intergenerational learning, inviting visitors to experience the living legacy of Mayan knowledge and its connection to the natural world.
We use ancestral technologies to reconnect us with the sacred. The garden is home to diverse communities of species: plants, fungi, lichens, animals, pollinators, insects, bats, reptiles, and birds. Transdisciplinary communities: Mayan spiritual leaders, x-meens, and herbalist doctors from other latitudes, who give us access to the immense pharmaceutical, mystical, and cultural heritage of their ancestors. Multidisciplinary groups of artists, artisans, scientists, researchers, and curious individuals who bring together various forms of knowledge in this space, seeking to communicate with the sacred and natural world.
